(INFO) The three-screen Top Center cinema opened in 1986 at Rahlgasse 1 near Mariahilfer Straße. Unable to withstand the pressure of the multiplexes, it showed its last film in 2001 and stood empty until 2003. In November 2003 the team behind the Schikaneder cinema reopened the space as Top Kino — an arthouse cinema united with a kitchen and bar.

The original Top Center offered 130, 98 and 78 seats across three halls; since the 2003 reopening the Top Kino has one 109-seat auditorium and pairs cinema with kitchen and bar.
